Emerson has announced the new version of pressure-operated piston valves: the ASCO™ 290D Series, designed for demanding applications. With bodies available in bronze or stainless steel, these valves are suitable for general services, including air, inert gases, water, oil, steam, and auxiliary fluids.

A notable feature of the 290D Series is the valve head. It can be made entirely of stainless steel, which offers corrosion resistance, protecting against harsh environments and corrosive media. There is also the option of a plastic head, designed to optimize its performance according to the specific needs of different applications and industries. Additionally, options compliant with RoHS, REACH, ATEX, IECEx, EU 1935/2004, FDA CFR21, EN161, PED, ISO 15848, SIL2, or EAC certifications make these valves the best choice for global use.

The updated design includes new features such as limit switches and new accessories, providing greater flexibility and efficiency in industrial processes. The 290D Series is ideal for controlling the flow or pressure of liquids, steam, air, or other gases, even in harsh environments, offering a robust and reliable solution for various industrial applications.
